About Roots N Wings

Welcome to Roots N Wings Montessori LLC, where life skills are imparted to each child in the form of Montessori education. Our program includes both Preschool and Kindergarten, starting as early as 6 weeks and continuing till 6 years of age. We also facilitate indoor yoga classes and outdoor play.

Caterpillars

Working with colors and shapes continues to be an important part of a child’s day in the Caterpillar Class. They are also introduced to basic phonetics.

Butterflies

There is a strong focus on children being able to independently care for themselves under a teacher’s close supervision.

Ladybugs

Children in the Ladybug Class are building the foundation for future learning. Thousands of words are introduced to the kids.

Healthy Menu

Nutritious Meals & Snacks

Our philosophy in preparing our meals and snacks is to use wholesome and fresh ingredients, e.g. using olive oil for cooking, buying omega-3 eggs instead of regular eggs..

Our Activities

Dance

We have a professional dance instructor coming in to teach students once a week.

Outdoor Play

We have swings and slide, water play, sandbox, treehouse, tunnel during summertime.

Yoga

We conduct yoga classes once a week in group sizes of 6-8 children.

Gym

We have a professional dance instructor coming in to teach students once a week.

Baking

Every week our teacher bakes or prepares snacks involving children.
